I  noticed this knitted jacket has come on to the nearly  new to you market and recognised it as one of my own knits.  I searched through my pictures and  found 2 photos of the complete outfit it was sold with.  I was surprised that this was made 9 years ago

I am still here, but just need to say I have almost retired from dolly dressmaking. I say almost because I may just need a dose from time to time.  I have a hat and coat set made which I will be sending to Cathy for the festival she is going to, so I hope it will be placed in a raffle or something   Thanks to all that do look at the blog and sorry its  not very often updated.  Enjoy your dolly hobby

Cathy  sent me an email and said this was one of the first dresses she purchased from me many  years ago, I think it was this one anyway.

I think I have been sewing for Sasha for ten years now , how time  passes . I  registered with ebay in 2000, it seems a long time ago and I have had 2 websites and now a blog,    Wonder what will be next on offer to us .  I have been  looking back at photos of the outfits  I  have made and as I am not quite as productive as I used to be I thought I would add some seasonal  pictures from the past.

THIS WAS A LITTLE SET I KNIT FOR THIS LITTLE DOLL , IT WAS SOLD ON EBAY MANY  YEARS AGO, SOMETIMES ITS NICE TO LOOK BACK THROUGH THE PHOTO GALLERY, THE ONLY THING IS IT SHOWS YOU HOW SLOW YOU  BECOME AS YOU GET OLDER. (MOAN MOAN )

LIBERTY BLUE FOR SASHA. NOW SOLD

HELLO, HOPE ALL SASHA LOVERS ARE  WELL,,,, ITS AGES SINCE I DID ANY SEWING FOR SASHA . I DID COMPLETE A REALLY NICE HAT AND COAT FOR SASHA IN SILK AND WOOL BUT DID NOT GET AROUND TO TAKING THE PICTURES.... ITS  TAKING THE PICTURES THAT I HATE SO MUCH.... THEY SAY THE CAMERA DOES NOT LIE BUT I THINK, YES IT DOES.   I OFTEN THINK THE LITTLE OUTFITS LOOK MUCH NICER IN REAL LIFE.  MAYBE IN FUTURE I WILL JUST TAKE A PICTURE OF THE  OUTFIT.  THIS LITTLE BLUE SET I HAVE JUST FINISHED TODAY,  ITS MADE FROM LIBERTY COTTON NEEDLE CORD , THE BAG AND SOCKS ARE KNITTED IN LAMBSWOOL AND THE SHOES ARE HAND MADE LEATHER WITH BLUE STITCHING. THE WOOL COAT WILL APPEAR IN MY NEXT POSTING
