SUMMER DAYS ARE COMING
For sale on the blog 2 dress sets and and 2  pairs of  MaryJane shoes, sold individually.

While waiting for the nice weather to arrive I have made 2 dresses in this pretty floral pure cotton fabric with a  creamy biscuit ground background colour, I also have the same fabric with a blue background but haven't  cut that yet.  The 2 dresses are almost the same just the cap sleeves are slightly different and the pockets  , other than that they are the same. They are sold with matching pants, head band, pink knitted socks and handmade leather shoes, the shoes are the same style but different colours.  I managed to take these photos in between showers, SORRY Stella set now sold ,BOTH pairs of shoes now sold  Carmen outfit  now sold

THE GARDEN IN MAY

After  a mild winter the garden is full of self seeded flowers and lots of  fruit blossom.  In 2 months time I will be cursing all those dead for-get-me-nots , blue bells and cowslips but for now they are to enjoy.

Viyella skorts for Sasha

 

I think skorts must be a new term for what we used to call cullotes,  this is how they where described on a childs outfit I saw recently, which is what this little set was based on.  The  skorts are made from truella fabric, tends to fray quite a lot but has a nice feel to it.  Not sure about the content of the  jersey top fabric but it has a good stretch, so fits Sasha nicely  the little dog pocket is made from the truella fabric.  Both skort and top fasten  at the back with poppers,  a new skill for me,  to complete the set, knitted shaped stockings and hand made leather shoes also with popper.     To keep postage costs down I will pack and post as economically as I can, in other words no frills p&p.  Sorry this set is now sold
