We have had some long cold frosty nights just lately,  a good time for a little sewing and knitting. These photos have been taken in the greenhouse of Sasha wearing the outfit I have just completed. I think it has a 1950s look about it , the soft hand knitted cardigan is a 1950s dolly knitting pattern. I was a child in the 1940s/50s and we always had long fawn socks , if we had white ankle socks it was a really special time.

Hello  Sasha folk ,hope all is well.    The nights are drawing in and tonight we have a sudden chill in the air, just right to start thinking about a little crafting.

I recently purchased this quite heavy light grey jersey fabric and this Irish linen , both from e bay shops , its made up into a little dress and pants set with a linen over apron ,its got an Autumn colour way and I have knit mitts, hat and socks in a tweedy green fleck wool to match the season , to complete the set Sasha wears brown leather Mary Jane shoes with prym snap fasteners .
