More summer sewing for Sasha

Just updating my blog with this outfit for Sasha which I completed last week. I made the red leather shoes first and the outfit followed. I know there are lots of commercial shoes produced for dolls these days and they are so amazing, but as I am really a homemade addict I do like homemade dolls shoes. They are fiddly to make and you never know if they are going to turn out quite right but thats the fun or frustrating part about it. This little dress set is made out of vintage cotton which I have used for Sasha and toddler before , it is nice quality fabric . The outfit includes dress with matching pants , bag, fine knitted cotton socks, red leather shoes and to complete the set dress fabric hair ties. Its sometimes a pleasure to do a bit of sewing when the weather gives you permission. I have created this little set for Sasha from a vintage cotton fabric using the reverse side for the contrast.
